Fontana, Palm Bay stay unbeaten at midway point; Pascagoula rallies late as tight finishes highlight Week 4

At the halfway mark of the 2025 National Sporter Air Rifle League’s eight-week regular season, programs from high schools and junior clubs completed another round of three-position matches. Each contest features four counting athletes per side, with 30 shots per individual across kneeling, prone and standing in decimal scoring. The league advances top finishers from the Champions, Distinguished and Elite divisions to postseason play, and regular season awards go to the top three teams per division and conference.

The front of the table held firm. Fontana MCJROTC and Palm Bay MCJROTC both moved to 4-0, while Pascagoula NJROTC remained unbeaten after a late surge against Norview NJROTC. Walton County Air Rifle and North Brunswick AJROTC rounded out the top five with comfortable wins. Elsewhere, Zion Benton NJROTC overcame a deficit to defeat Ramona NJROTC, and Conroe AJROTC closed strong to edge Ooltewah AJROTC—two of several matches that swung in the standing stage.
