Muzik rallies from third to win 3x20 Air Rifle Match

Delilah Muzik turned a two-point deficit after Kneeling into a seven-point win in the July 2026 - Scopos' 3 Position 3x20 Air Rifle Virtual Match, finishing the 10m Air Rifle three-position 3x20 course with a 594 - 47. The virtual match ran July 1-31 and drew 19 entries.

Muzik, of Green Springs, Ohio, finished ahead of Ruby Harris, who took second with a 587 - 33. Melody Lin, the early leader, placed third with a 582 - 39 after entering the final position still in the lead group.

Lin opened the match with the best Kneeling score, a 197 - 17, while Harris also shot 197 and Muzik sat third at 195 - 13. Muzik changed the match in Prone, posting the top score in the position at 200 - 19 to move ahead with a 395 - 32 total through two positions.

The race remained tight entering Standing, with Muzik one point ahead of both Lin and Harris. Muzik then added the highest Standing score, a 199 - 15, to create the final separation, while Harris’ 193 - 7 in the position moved her clear of Lin for second place by five points.

International Air Rifle

Caroline Tso closes strong to win Air Pistol match

Caroline Tso turned a tightened middle portion into an eight-point win in the July 2026 Scopos' Air Pistol Virtual Match, finishing the 10m Air Pistol 60-shot qualification course with a final score of 563 - 15. Tso led the 25-entry field early, saw William Regala cut into the gap through 40 shots, then rebuilt the margin over the closing 20 shots.

Tso, of Centreville, Virginia, finished ahead of Regala, also of Centreville, who placed second with 555 - 13. Sean Noh, another Centreville shooter, was third with 550 - 13, five points behind Regala in the final standings.

The decisive separation came late. Tso led Regala by seven points through the opening 20 shots before Regala made the match closer in the middle portion, trimming the deficit to four through 40 shots. Tso answered with a 190 - 5 finish over the final 20 shots, while Regala closed with 186 - 4.

Noh kept pressure on the runner-up race by closing with 187 - 4, one point better than Regala over the final stretch, but Regala’s earlier edge was enough to hold second. Tso’s closing response ultimately restored the cushion she needed and gave her the final 563 - 15 to 555 - 13 victory margin.

What are the Monthly Virtual Matches?

Each month Scopos organizes an ongoing series of Monthly Virtual Matches for both rifle and pistol disciplines. The intent is to give shooters a fun new way to participate, allowing them to compare their results with other shooters and teams from within their town, state, country or even across the planet.

Who can Participate?

Any Scopos customer may participate. Best of all, they are free! There is no entry fee or lengthy registration process.
