The Scopos 2026 National New Shooter and Air Pistol League registrations are open. Opportunities for both young athletes and adults to learn, have fun, and compete against the best. 

Both leagues are 10 weeks long, with each team competing in 8 games. The regular season begins Monday, 26 January 2026. The preseason begins Monday, 5 January 2026.

About the Leagues

Both Leagues intend to create an exciting competition format, allowing teams from throughout the country to compete virtually in an exciting, spectator-friendly league. Each team is comprised of four or more members, with each team competing in a 10 week 8 game format. Each game, teams shoot against another team in the league, virtually, from their home range.

The Scopos National Air Rifle “New Shooter” League is an offshoot of the National Air Rifle League intended for young athletes in their first year of competition. Teams are comprised of “New Shooters,” sporter air rifle athletes in their first year of competition. By focusing on New Shooters, the League seeks to reward not just competition success but also participation and improvement. As such every team has a chance to earn medals at the end of the League. 

The Scopos National Air Pistol League is open to teams of all age groups, juniors and adults. The top three teams are recognized at the end of the season. New this year are special divisions for Intercollegiate Clubs and Junior teams.

Collegiate Pistol Clubs

New this season, collegiate pistol teams are invited to compete in the 2026 National Air Pistol League, where they’ll face off against fellow collegiate teams and open teams in the league. A new dedicated collegiate division will provide added recognition with the league awarding the top collegiate club program at the end of the season. To qualify, all team members must be current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at the same institution.

There is a $140 per team registration fee. To receive $20 off your registration, be sure to register your team by 9 January 2026 at the latest. For more information visit the League website or download the complete 2026 New Shooter League Program or the 2026 Air Pistol League Program.

• Your Scopos Account information.
• The number of athletes that will be participating on your team (approximate if fine, this is used for participation awards, stickers, pins, etc.).
