- Fixed issue that was preventing the default display files from being overwritten when the user requested to re-download them.

- Added "Completion" as a Result List Format field source. Using Unicodes to display when an Event is in progress.
- Added support for updated RESULT LIST FORMAT multi-line rows.
- Using the bullseye Unicode to indicate when a score is a predicted score.
- Improved performance of displaying a Result List by making the if / and Get Source block a dictionary lookup.

What's Being Upgraded and Why
In
this release is a major upgrade to the server that runs Athena's
Network Manager. This upgrade requires an automated, one-time-only, 30
to 45 minute installation. We recommend that you plan for this update at
a time that will be least disruptive to your range.
Orion version 2.25 has a number of regular order enhancements and bug
fixes (see release notes above). It also includes a server update to
Athena’s Network Manager. The Network Manager is “the brains” of an
Athena range; it is the central hub of all network activity that allows
targets, monitors, and displays to communicate.
Your Network Manager currently runs the first generation of software called “Greengrass.” Amazon Web Services, who wrote Greengrass, is ending support for the first generation. To continue to maintain support, including security, it is necessary to upgrade.
Requirements
- 30 to 45 minutes.
- All Monitors, Targets, and Displays to be powered on at the start of the update. During the update, these units will power down.
- Administrator access to install Orion and install a new security certificate.
- Internet access.
The Upgrade Process
The upgrade process will seem largely familiar to you. However, it will require 30 to 45 minutes to complete and require updating the EST firmware BEFORE updating the Network Manager. As usual, much of the upgrade process is automated. The steps are outlined below.
- Install Orion version 2.25.
- Upgrade the Athena Firmware on all Targets, Monitors, and Displays (5 to 10 minutes depending on size of your range.
- Upgrade the Network Manager (15 to 20 minutes).
- Restart your range.
For Orion-only Users
Your software upgrade process will remain the same as usual, where you may download the new 2.25 version directly from Orion, or our website.
