Celebrating Pi Day, March 14th

Pi Day, March 14th, is a celebration of all things science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Here at Scopos, we pride ourselves at being a technology company. We use the Raspberry Pi as the CPU module for all of our Electronic Scoring Target (EST) units, including Targets, Monitors, and Displays. By relying on this inexpensive, yet powerful, computer we are able make Athena the most affordable full featured EST system on the market.

In honor of Pi Day, the photos below are from our integrated test environment. This 54 firing point range allows us to test software and hardware before being promoted to production. It includes over 100 Raspberry Pis. With this environment we test upcoming releases, scalability, and spectator engagement. Plus, it lets us have fun and shoot on our own targets.

Over 50 Raspberry Pis lined up, simulating 54 firing points.
