The previous week's games resulted in much more movement in placings all around than we saw in Week 4. In the Precision League, Sutter Union High School jumped to 2nd place from 6th. Granbury MCJROTC still outpaces them in the lead by 24 League Points.
In the Sporter League, places 8 through 10 were bumped off the chart and replaced. Bradley Central AJROTC is holding on to 10th place by just 0.75 League Points. Jack C. Hays MCJROTC still claims the first spot by nearly 13 Points ahead of Zion Benton NJROTC.
Bradley Central leveled up in Week 5 after beating Mountain View MCJROTC, moving into the top 10 Sporter Teams. This was their 4th win, holidng on to keep a perfect record thus far. This week they will face off against Lebanon AJROTC, the current 12th place team in Sporter.
Royal MCJROTC collected their first win of the season last week against Lumen Christi High School, keeping their trend of increasing scores so far this season, and outdoing their last week's score by over 30 points. This week Royal will shoot against Ramonda MCJROTC, who has a 3 - 2 score.
Bensalem defeated Milton NJROTC last week in this matchup against 2 large teams to gain their 2nd win of the season. Bensalem has been outdoing their own 2023 performance, consistently shooting higher scores than their 2023 high. This week they will meet with Ooltewah AJROTC.
In this Week 5 showdown of DoD schools from Germany, Ansbach defeated Vilseck to keep a 4 - 0 record. Ansbach was led by David Serna with a 586.4. In week 6, Ansbach will shoot against the Central Arkansas Hawkeyes.
