An Athena for Clubs range uses its own internal wireless network for communication. Targets, monitors, and displays connect via WiFi. The compact server and networking equipment generally connect via cables. The Athena range requires internet access for initial setup, adding new devices, software updates, etc, and at least once every 28 days to renew security certificates. Your range does not necessarily need constant internet access to function.
Athena for Clubs does require an active Orion license to function. A Windows computer running Orion is required to act as the range control software for Athena for Clubs.

Athena hardware is warrantied for 1 year after purchase. Software and firmware updates are covered under the required Orion software license
An Athena at Home unit connects via WiFi, generally to your home's existing internet connection. It does not require any server equipment or the use of Orion. The Athena at Home target and monitor must be connected to the internet at all times during use.
Athena at Home does require the use of a Scopos account on our new Rezults website in order to set up and pair your target and monitor.
For more information related to Athena at Home requirements, view our support topic: https://support.scopos.tech/linking-your-at-home-target-an.html
Athena hardware is warrantied for 1 year after purchase. Because there is no Orion license required, future software and firmware updates remain free.
